In the semi-final of Indian Open 2019, P V Sindhu was defeated by He Bingjiao. On Saturday the famous Indian shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth played the final match of Indian Open, P V Sindhu as well as Parupalli Kashyap were fully crashed out from their respective semi-final matches which were lost. Within 43 minutes of playing, Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen defeated Parupalli. Kashyap was lost the match with the result of 11-21. In contrast, P V Sindhu played nicely but she could not control the match during the last half. So, she faced a narrow defeat from He Bingjiao from China with the result of 21-23 and 18-21 within 55 minutes of playing.

Whereas Huang Yuxiang who represents China was defeated by Kidambi Srikanth. The result of the final match was 16-21, 21-14, 21-19. In earlier Srikanth edged the past player Sai Praneeth in a riveting all India counter. He was a 2015 champion and the result was 21-23, 21-11, 21-19 within 62 minutes of playing. On Friday he defeated former Swiss Open runner-up. This was his third win in his eight meetings. On the basis of the advantage of 18-14, Srikanth improved his errors and increase the level 13-13, after the early lead of Praneeth 5-2. Praneeth closed out the game with the result of 23-21 and Srikanth saved three game points like a champion.
