The big news that Amazon has got this week is that it has now signed contracts with the United Arab Emirates big gun called Du. This is the bond which is signed with Amazon Prime Video. Du will now provide the facility to its users to access the Amazon Prime Videos. This huge announcement was surfaced by Du when it was showcasing its technological assets in GITEX this week in UAE.  This new partnership has been signed is under value-added consumer strategy which will give access to more consumers all around the world to high-quality content.

This week is not at all exciting for Amazon if we talk in terms of Amazon music. This week, the users were just out of access f streaming music from Amazon Music and this is one of the major disappointments from music lovers this week. Be it automation device, the site and even the Amazon App just stopped playing the music after 10 AM (UK time). Most probably, this was the trouble due to its cloud issue.

The other important news that is making rounds all over the internet is that James Farrel has been made Head of International Originals by Amazon currently.  Initially, the same man was bestowed with the responsibility of the head of content in the entertainment section of this big-commerce big gun. Amazon’s studio’s Head, Jeniffer Salke praised James Farrel and quoted ” We’ve had significant success in this area to date and, by streamlining our International Originals Team under one creative leader; we can strategically carry out our ambitious global vision and ensure our future growth”.  He has also recruited other television executives who have considerable experience and proven talents in the world of television and entertainment. Some of the names in this field include Vernom Sanders from NBC and ABC digital chief Albert Cheng.
